The Green Christ, certainly "the most radical of works" by Maurice Denis, enters the collections of the Musée d'Orsay, enriching a collection of Nabi and post-impressionist paintings, which is the most comprehensive in the world. The 1890 work (21 x 15 cm, 8.2 x 5.9 in) was never shown during the artist's lifetime.
