In Rome, the National Galleries of Ancient Art have acquired two insignificant works of the 17th century: The Death of Cleopatra by Giovanni Lanfranco and the Portrait of Cardinal Antonio Barberini, by Simone Cantarini, which were originally in the Barberini Palace.
