First quarter of the 16th century, Ghent-Bruges studio of Simon Bening, Book of Hours in Latin for the Rite of Utrecht, illuminated manuscript on vellum, 12mo, 226 leaves, period leather binding with gold tooling, 13.9 x 10.5 x 3.8 cm (approx. 5,2 x 4,8 x 1,5 in), in a wooden case covered in leather with gold tooling, brass hasp.
