A Historic Nomination to the Head of the Palais de la Porte Dorée

Pap Ndiaye, a specialist in the social history of minority groups, will today be officially named by Matignon – the office of France’s Prime Minister – as Director of the National Museum of Immigration History. The museum is housed in the Palais de la Porte Dorée, constructed in 1931 for the Colonial Exhibition.
