A Canaletto painting on public display for the first time in two centuries at Westminster Abbey

A painting  of Westminster Abbey by Venician master Canaletto, which was hung in the dean's private quarters since 1792, has now been put on public display. Westminster Abbey With a Procession of Knights of the Bath, was painted in 1749, when Canaletto lived in England (1746-55).
