To honor the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s 150th anniversary, German figurative artist Georg Baselitz has donated six of his upside-down paintings, all painted in 1969. They will be on display as part of the museum’s ‘Georg Baselitz: Pivotal Turn’ exhibition until July 18. (Artnet)
