Enchérissez sur la liste des lots Aponem : 14 avril 2023 - <p><strong>Jean-Marie-Charles Langlois, (1896-1949)</strong>&nbsp;arrive au Vietnam en 1920. Il s’y</p><p>établit et y travaille en tant qu’ingénieur pour la société de Construction</p><p>des Chemins de Fer Indochinois. Ingénieur principal aux chemins de fer</p><p>d’Indochine de 1920 à 1949, féru d'art asiatique, sinophile et parlant le</p><p>mandarin, il parvient à constituer une collection d'art asiatique qui sera</p><p>rapatriée en France en bateau en 1946 par sa femme et ses enfants après</p><p>sa mort. Il finit sa vie dramatiquement en 1949 au Col des Nuages fusillé</p><p>par les Viet-Minh lors d'une une attaque de train. Il sera décoré de la Légion</p><p>d'Honneur à titre posthume.</p><p>Jean Marie Langlois (1927-2019), son fils, hérite de la collection, et, dès les</p><p>années 1950, il poursuit celle-ci avec le soutien de son épouse, en quête de</p><p>cohérence et de qualité, afin de rendre hommage à Jean Langlois.</p><p>La collection actuelle réunit donc plus de cent ans de collection.</p><p>Redécouverte dans la maison familiale, cette collection qui sommeillait</p><p>depuis des années est enfin dévoilée au grand public pour la première fois</p><p>dans cette seconde partie.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Jean Langlois (1896-1949)</strong>&nbsp;arrived in Vietnam in 1920. After the war, he</p><p>decided to stay in Vietnam where he worked as an engineer for the Société</p><p>de Construction des Chemins de Fer Indochinois.
