Dutch bronze plaque, Immaculate with halo, standing... Lot 6

Dutch bronze plaque, Immaculate with halo, standing on angel's face and a half-moon. Bronze cast in half relief, hand finished and gilded. Southern Netherlands 16th Century. Mounted on a later red velvet wooden supported plaque. Five old drill holes for mounting, one old hole in the lower left section, rubbings on the gilding, scratches.  sculpture height 13,5cm
