KONGO - MASCHERA POLICROMA Rep. Dem. Congo Dai bei tratti finemente scolpiti in modo naturalistico. Il volto dipinto di bianco scandito dalle tre grandi linee di scarificazione sulle guance e sulla fronte bombata, presente mento appuntito, naso lanceolato e grande turgida bocca colorata in rosso. Bella maschera in ottime condizioni di conservazione. A POLYCHROME KONGO MASK. Dem. Rep. of the Congo Finely carved, with naturalistic facial features. The face, painted white and articulated by three large lines of scarifications on the cheeks and on the curved forehead, offers a pointed chin, wedge-shaped nose and a large, full, redcoloured mouth. A splendid mask in an excellent state of conservation. H. 29 cm.
