Zsolnay (Hungarian), an Art Nouveau Eosin glazed three handled vase, the form designed by Tádé Sikorski c.1900, raised Zsolnay Pecs mark, impressed 6084, 23, 23 The tapered vase with three folded stem-shaped handles pulled from the neck, decorated with stylised flowers and trellis in a rich lustrous Eosin glaze 33.5 cm high Literature: Edited by Éva Csenkey, Hungarian Ceramics from the Zsolnay Manufactory, Yale University Press, 2002, p.124, pl.93 (three 'stem-shaped' vases illustrated, with two, three and four handled versions) Condition Report: There are three old chips to the underside rim of the foot - they do not affect the side of the vase. Few fine marks/wear to glaze. Old marks and wear to the base.
