Zsolnay (Hungarian), an Eosin glazed 'Lobster and snake' vide poche the design attributed to Mihály Kapás-Nagy
Model designed in 1900, Printed lustre shield mark, Made in Hungary used 1924-1970
The free form shape modelled on one edge with a lobster, with a snake wrapped around the edge, it's head appearing beside the lobster, the lobster coloured in flambé red the rest in lustrous Eosin glaze

Some rubbing with loss to colour and glaze surface around the rim, on the lobsters claw, eyebrow and back and on the interior of the vide poche. Some crazing to the glaze. Two small chips to the inside edge on the rim on the underside of the base.
