Dr Christopher Dresser (British 1834-1904), an electroplated articulated letter/toast rack made by Hukin & Heath Mark of Hukin & Heath, numbered 2555, stamped registration lozenge for 1881 The arched base with fixed central bar handle flanked on either side by three moving partitions, on bun feet 12.4 cm high, 17.5 cm wide when open Wobbles a little. Central rod for handle slightly bent. Articulation all good. Some old marks, wear and abrasions in keeping with age and use.
