He is considered to have introduced Raphaelism to Spain, probably because of his training in Valencia with Vicente Masip, as he never travelled to Italy. He was the renovator of Renaissance painting in Aragon, his style stands out for its meticulous detail, elegance, the stylisation of the canons and the elaborate compositions.
