Chine, XXe siècle. Largueur: 54 cm. Hauteur: 18 cm. Xi Zeng (1904-1972) est un célèbre calligraphe dont les oeuvres ont été exposées au Japon en 1922. Il était vice-président de l'Académie centrale des Beaux-Arts de Chine, conseil de l'Association des artistes de Chine. Il rend ici hommage au grand maître Wen Zhengming(1470-1559), calligraphe et poète chinois de la dynastie des Ming. Xi Zeng (1904?1972) is a famous calligrapher whose works were exhibited in Japan in 1922. He was vice-president of the Central Academy of Fine Arts of China, council of the Association of Artists of China. Here, he pays homage to the old master Wen Zhengming (1470-1559), Chinese calligrapher and poet during the Ming dynasty.
