Vers le blanc infini. Lausanne et Paris, La Rose des vents, 1960. In-folio, en feuilles, chemise en demi-vélin blanc de l'éditeur avec marque dorée sur le premier plat. Édition originale. Tirage limité à 600 exemplaires. Un des 100 exemplaires sur papier vélin Richard de Bas, signés par le peintre et accompagnés d'une suite des cuivres barrés (nº XXX), seul tirage de tête avec un exemplaire sur japon nacré. (Les planches dites “barrées” sont en réalité rehaussées d'une surimpression au pochoir.) 8 poèmes de Jean Arp illustrés par lui-même de 8 eaux-fortes originales hors texte : toutes les planches de la suite ont été ici exceptionnellement signées par le peintre ; le frontispice quatre fois. “Toward the end of his life Arp published two livres d'artiste, Vers le blanc infini and Le Soleil recerclé ; the great care that was taken in the publication of the two books, including in their typography and engraving, seems to invalidate Arp's claim that his creations were highly spontaneous and that he disregarded esthetics” (Renee Riese Hubert).
