A Chinese blue and white figure of Budai Lot n° 381

The smiling figure is modelled with pendulous earlobes. He wears a long robe which is open at the chest and decorated with flowers sprays on a seeded ground. He is holding prayer beads in one hand and a burlap sack in the other. The underside with a stamped mark reading 'Jiangxi Zhu Maoji zao' (Made by Zhu Maoji in Jiangxi).
