With an original letter to (?) in French - dated 1883? - by Picard tipped in on the first free endpaper, written from Chateau Famelette in Huccorgne (South of Liège). From the library of Emile van der Borch van Verwolde (1910-1943) and with his bookplate. Van der Borch was a known collector of bibliophile publications and collected mainly French literature. His uncle by marriage was Andries Bonger (1861-1936), friend of Van Gogh and collector of modern art, particulary Odilon Redon.
