Giorgio De Chirico 1888 - 1978 Cavalli e rovine, 1954 Lithograph (black, light red, blue) H33 x L43 cm (H12.99 x L16.93 in ) Signature lower center in the plate Signature lower right in pencil The work is part of the series "Cavalli" and "Ville" published in Rome in 1954 by Carlo Bestetti, Publisher of Art in Rome. It was drawn by the lithographer Igino Alessandrini in 161 copies distributed as follows: 5 marked with the letters a, b, c, d, and each accompanied by a special series printed on white silk satin; 6 "ad personam" for the author and the collaborators; 25 distinguished by Roman numbers I to XXV, out of print; 125 marked with Arabic numbers from 1 to 125. After the printing, the stones were canceled in the presence of the Author and the Editor. This work is part of the 6 "Ad Personam" lithographs.
