A CREAM-GLAZED ANNAMESE GLOBULAR EWER, 12TH TO 13TH CENTURY Size: 17.2cm (H), 18cm (D) An Annamese ewer of ovoid form with a scrolling handle and a zoomorphic spout decorated to the upper body with a further foliate band, the cream glaze with overall crackling, the upper shoulder decorated with a band of double concentric lines containing abstract foliate motifs painted in underglaze iron brown, with a label for the Christie‘s 1996 auction.
