A 17th/18th century hinged leather travelling box The sectional interior with three vacant and one hinged lidded section, above the sliding end with secret drawer, the exterior with gilt tooled decoration. 19 cm wide. Some gilt wear/loss predominantly to top, some leather wear/small losses, some splits, some small repairs, some old woodworm holes, leather loss to underside, wear to interior, general wear.
