ATTIC BLACK-FIGURE KYATHOS WITH SCYTHIAN ARCHER ca. 525 – 500 BC; height cm 15 (6’’); diam. cm 11 (4’’); With the figure of a Scythian archer, walking to the right with the head turned back, between two large eyes; a panther on each sides of the handle and stylized vegetal shoots in the field. The high ridged handle with a knob on the top. PROVENANCE From the R.H.M. collection, London.
