‡ ˜AN ARAB DAGGER (JAMBIYA), EARLY 20TH CENTURY with curved double-edged blade formed with a low medial ridge, silver-studded rhinoceros horn hilt applied with brass plaques in the manner of coins and the bass with a brass panel cast with a brief Arabic inscription, in its original scabbard with large pierced silver mount, together with matching belt 23.5 cm; 9 ¼ in blade The inscription reads 'la ilah illa allah al-razzaq dhu'l-quwwa al-matin' (There is no god but God, the Sustainer, the Possesor of Power, the Steadfast.).
