Au début du XIXe siècle, les figurines représentant le Juif étaient populaires en Angleterre et étaient produites par différentes manufactures. Un autre exemplaire presque similaire figure au numéro 204 dans la vente Sotheby's Tel-Aviv du 15 avril 1998 ainsi que dans la vente Kestenbaum du 21 novembre 2006 au numéro 319 (décrit comme Staffordshire, ca. 1820) Bibliographie: R.D.
