Blue and white porcelain double-gourd vase, China, Ming period, Wanli period (1573-1620) The lower bulb, square in cross-section and decorated on a blue background with Greek and ruyi heads, is divided into four reserves, each of which is painted in blue with a pine tree alternating with a bamboo tree, each twisted trunk forming the outline of a shou and fu calligraphy character. It continues with a narrow waist, topped by a round upper bulb, painted with foliage and flowers. The neck is decorated with banana leaves. Height: 23 cm Slightly lapped at the neck.
