Chest of drawers with doors decorated with Japanese lacquer panels hira maki-e and taka maki-e
with gold decoration on black background in front of maritime landscapes and pagodas. It opens with
a large drawer in the waist and two leaves whose fields are veneered with mahogany. The
The curved sides present lacquered panels with gold decoration on a black background of flowering branches
and a bird. The mounts are cut and recessed and rest on quadrangular
feet with quadrangular section set in chased and gilded bronze foliage.
Ornamentation in chased and gilded bronze including frieze of foliage in the belt, falls
acanthus leaves, framing of the panels with heart-shaped raisins, baguettes, rosettes,
garlands of oak leaves and pampers.
Marble top brocatelle of Spain (restored, missing).
