South China, circa 1900, Tripod perfume burner made of finely chiseled gilded bonze, decorated with dragons moving among clouds above the foaming waves. The opening is decorated with Greek motifs. Mark on the base "Yu Tang Qing Wan". (N.B. Yan Song was an official of the Ming dynasty, his son collected incense burners. This seal was for his collection, as well known as the burners of "Xuande"). Weight, 1.524 kg D.17 cm
