Moto Morini The Moto Morini brand was born from the passion of a man, Alfonso Morini. Motorized soldier during the war, then mechanic, his life was built around mechanics. At the beginning, his brand produced small three-wheelers equipped with a 125 two-stroke engine. This homemade engine will be used in the first motorcycle of the brand in 1946, Moto Morini is born. Its engine would impress and lead the brand to success in a number of European competitions. As for the road range, it will find success with the public since the model will sell very well to young people in particular. Its sporty look, its bright color and its pedigree do not leave indifferent. This MORINI SETTEBELLO is an ex-stable bike that raced at the time, but unfortunately we do not know its record of achievements. It will have to be reconstituted by the future buyer. On the other hand, we know that it was entirely restored by the great specialist Max Coueille in Auch. Restorer and preparer of old motorcycles as meticulous as goldsmith, he knows how to push the limits of an engine like the Aermacchi 125 of Colonel Olivier Bourdil who won in the 80s the Grand Prix de l'Age d'Or in Monthléry, because it took 280km/h Others like Di Meglio, Costeux or Hutteau who will have all become famous thanks to the engines made by Max Coueille. He also restored the 125 Jonghi ex Jean-Pierre Beltoise with its famous double shaft cylinder head. It is thus a Morini of race restored by a great preparator which is proposed to us with the sale. It needs a little bit of work. The engine is new and will need to be run in order to take advantage of its potential on track. It is equipped with all its racing accessories: seat, tank, lap counter, pot, racing carburettor, brakes as well as tubes and sleeves from Aermacchi, the original ones of the bike are provided with.
