Posthumous first edition of this pleasant report of a trip to Morocco, first published as a serial in La Revue des Deux Mondes: this book "gives a complete picture of Morocco, from Tangier to Fez, and (that) it leaves in the mind a vivid and clear image." He died of tuberculosis on the way back.
