1963 BUICK WILDCAT Serial Number: 6J3009330 An inimitable style Same owner for 36 years! Only 6,021 examples French registration 20 000 /25 000 Originally, the Wildcat model is a revisit of an existing Buick model: the Invicta Custom. However, some elements are different. Based on a 2-door Invicta, the designers installed a new dashboard that covers the entire interior. As for the rear lights, they come from the Buick Electra 225. In 1963, the "wildcat" became the replacement for the Invicta Custom. The Invicta Estate Wagon model remained in place until 1963. Thus, in addition to the 2-door hardtop model, a convertible version and a 4-door hardtop version will be in the catalog. The center console with original rev counter and selector remains a standard equipment for the 2-door versions and is available as an option in the 4-door model. The manual gearbox will also be optional. In addition, all the car's equipment is electric. Produced in only 6,021 examples, the convertible version is surely the most refined of the three versions. The model presented here dates back to 1963 and is therefore one of the first examples of this generation of Wildcat. Under the hood is a 6.5L V8 engine mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. This is the first car in the collection of a Buick enthusiast and has owned it since 1987. The body is in good condition, the upholstery is also in good condition. The 40 kilometers we did with this car allowed us to realize how pleasant it is to drive. A typical American V8 noise will accompany you throughout a drive, hair in the wind. 1963 BUICK WILDCAT Serial number: 6J3009330 Inimitable style Same owner for 36 years!
