Mr. H. Collection WITHOUT RESERVATION 1919 S. U. P. Type HFB Series 1 Serial number : 1353 French registration card 10 000 / 12 000 S.U.P. Société des Usines du Pâquis located in Mézières started by building complete chassis without engine, which it delivered without manufacturer's name, so that brands like Guilick and others could build cars using this chassis. Later the factory worked with Peugeot Frères, Lorraine-Dietrich...and gradually gained importance so that in the early 20's, S.U.P. built its own cars whose main quality was robustness, built with different engines, Ballot, Alios, or Chapuis Dornier and bodied as a Torpedo or as an interior. Thereafter Albert Hainon, President of S.U.P. took again these fabrications of parts for Renault, Peugeot... Its engine is a 4 cylinders in line Chapuis Dornier. This one is not blocked but to be started again. These cars are now untraceable. It seems that there are only 3 examples left. c1919 S. U. P.
