Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999) is a French architect and designer. After studying at the Ecole de l'Union Centrale des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, she founded her own interior design firm. She worked with Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret in Paris in the 1920s, as an associate in charge of equipment and furniture. This experience allowed her to strengthen her technical skills, knowledge and references and to create her own style, marked by a new impulse and a modern sensibility to design. Throughout her career, Charlotte Perriand has collaborated with the greatest. She joined the Steph Simon Gallery with Jean Prouvé and collaborated with Serge Mouille or Francis Jourdain, Raymond Templier or Eileen Gray.
