GENERAL GOVERNMENT OF INDOCHINA.
FRENCH INDOCHINA. THE RACES.
Two oblong photographic albums numbered 1 and 2 in an Italian format (28x34 cm), titled in calligraphy. Commissioned by the General Government of Indochina between 1924 and 1928. Each album contains 20 hand-captioned silver prints, a total of 40 photographs presented by ethnic group and province (Meo, Man, Nung, Thay, Pakha, White Thai, Black Thai, Lo-Lo, Koui-Chu, Yao, Xa-Man, Muong, Annamite, Cambodian). Made in small quantities, these rare albums were generally offered by the Indochina Government to prestigious visitors.
(A few stains and tears to the cover, the interior in superb condition).

- CUCHEROUSSET (Henri). The Indochina of yesterday and today. Interesting paperback book in-8, 104 pp. decorated with 42 illustrations in the text and 8 maps in color at the end of the work. Copy on bamboo pulp paper from Papeteries de l'Indochine (Dapcau vietri), the boards decorated with decorations from the Bulletin des Amis du Vieux Hué, the French text translated in parallel into Annamese by Vu-Cong-Nghi.

- Two silver prints pasted on cardboard featuring two groups of women from the ethnic groups of North Vietnam, including the Man Tiên of Bac Kan.
