History of the House of Mauboussin: The house has its roots in the heart of Paris, rue Greneta. Mr. Rocher founded a jewelry workshop there in 1827. This workshop will be taken over by the House Noury, having a great influence in the world of luxury and contemporary jewelry (bronze medal at the Universal Exhibition of 1878). In 1883, Jean-Baptiste Noury's nephew, Georges Mauboussin, took over the management of the workshops and in 1922, gave its final name to the company.
