Cantabella (1977) is a woman painter with a predilection for figurative, pop art, nudes, classical and comics. The artist: "The conflict between the private and the public is often present in my works, using the nude, history, childhood or violence, for example, as arguments for reflection. My compositions always start from classical platforms, from an iconography that revises and updates, from a judgment on modernity. My work practices distortion, trying to show in an ironic way the social and political sub-realities of our time. I try to document and highlight the flaws of our times."
