Rada TZANKOVA - The life of Saint Ignatius
Gouache, Indian ink, pencil, gold paint on paper.
This work in six pieces was inspired by the crucial moments of St. Ignatius' life: the period of convalescence, the revelation of God, his dreams and visions, the solitary journeys and his moments of writing.
There are two readings of the work: from a distance, one plunges into a dreamlike landscape of the primary colors of red, blue, and yellow of Naples. Approaching, we discover the narrative details of his life in Indian ink.
