For more than 20 years, JENK has been sculpting brightly colored, larger-than-life candies of various sizes in materials such as Plexiglas, polyester, bronze, aluminum, marble and Murano glass. While JENK's famous Bonbon has become its artistic signature, JENK continues to research and develop its themes to enrich its repertoire of forms. In 2017, the Wrapping Twist sculptures appeared, symbolizing the crumpled wrapping of candy paper. JENK's work is exhibited in over 50 countries around the world in numerous galleries and important private and public collections. A Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres since 2019, Laurence JENK is ranked #430 in the top 1000 international contemporary artists sold at auction over the past twenty years, according to the latest Artprice 2020 report, "20 Years of Contemporary Art at Auction."
