A very fine proof printed in brown on old azure laid paper, from the edition of 30 proofs made for Dumont in 1894, formerly washed, the lower left corner restored. Trace of oxidation at the opening of an old mount. Traces of horizontal folds, thinning and short tear in the center of the right margin (slightly affecting the subject). Small hole in the subject. Remainder of adhesive in the center at the foot on the reverse. All margins. Provenance: collection of the painter Ignacio Zuloaga y Zabaleta (1870-1945), then by descent.
