Ana Miralles says: "This is the real cover of Heart of Djinn, the special edition of the Indian cycle. I had done half of it, and because I was unsure about the background, I started another illustration with slightly different motifs, such as tattoos, shadows on the skin, certain shades The second sketch excited the editors - and became the final cover. But I wonder if the well-known argument, 'your cover, we need it for tomorrow! A few months later, I took out the first design and finished it. Here it is. I really like it." It's hard to prove the artist wrong On this Persian tapestry with a floral motif, Jade stands out like an icon, highlighted by the mahogany mass of her hair, the tattoos accusing her forms that her red shawl has just revealed. All the controlled power of a first draft.
