Large hardwood mask of a deity with a thick black patina and red and blue pigment highlights, showing a grimacing face with bulging eyes and a mouth open over its teeth. Surmounted by a crown of citipati, indicating its rank among the protective deities. It is adorned with a horsehair headdress attached to a removable tenon. Band of fabric visible in the opening of the mouth.
Wear, cracks on the back.
