2 first parts only of these suites of 59 (out of 60) (ch. 1-60) then 42 plates (out of 44, ch. 1-29 then n.ch.) engraved in intaglio by Raphaël Sadeler, including the 2 title-frontispieces, without the text by Matthäus Rader. They will be followed by a third one in 1627. Bookplate of Cardinal Louis-Ernest Dubois, archbishop of Rouen (1856-1929). Marginal foxing and fading, with paper restorations in places. Tear with important lack (1/3 of the plate) at plate 36. Without plate 18 for the 1st part. Rare. (Brunet, IV, 1085.)
