Satsuma earthenware bowl with lobed rim, decorated with ladies admiring irises in bloom in a lobed medallion at the bottom of the bowl, other scenes of ladies and landscapes in cartouches on the outside of the bowl, on a midnight blue background with gold scrolls, Shozan mark on the base. Slight wear to the gold.
