This lithograph is part of a series of ten lithographs, made especially by Paul Jouve for the book by Charles Terrasse. After the book was completed, Jouve printed thirty artist's proofs, only on Japon paper, at the art printer Lucien Détruit. Each proof was justified as an artist's proof by Jouve.
