NASA. LARGE FORMAT. DEEP SPACE. Impressive artist's view of a proposed NASA target asteroid for its Asteroid Redirection Mission or "ARM" project. Infrared images revealed that this asteroid is about two-thirds empty space. One of the possible structures of such an asteroid is shown here: a group of weakly clumped boulders. This makes it well suited to serve as a test target for developing the Asteroid Diversion Project in the event of a potential collision with Earth. 2014.Vintage chromogenic print.
