At the request of the public, NASA scientists have taken a new photograph of the Earth from the same angle as the iconic first "BLUE MARBBLE" of the APOLLO XVII mission, taken during the last human voyage to the Moon to date. This new extraordinary photograph was made with no less than 6 photographic shots taken during 6 separate orbits during the month of January 2012, 40 years after the first mythical "BLUE MARBLE".
