Equinoctial sundial in engraved brass with octagonal plate decorated with two sea monsters spitting waves. Central compass and compass rose in the center, graduated measuring ring folding. Engraved on the back with the names of different cities and their coordinates such as Rome, Vienna, Augsburg or Paris and the name "Andr. Vogl" for Andreas Vogler (1730-1800), active during the second half of the 18th century in Augsburg.
