Beautiful copy of this sought-after work, first published in 1719, considerably enriched in 1733, then in 1751. This 1751 edition, including 93 engraved plates, is considered the best.
The cabinet of curiosities of Nicolas Grollier de Servières (1596-1689), nephew of the great bibliophile Jean Grollier, was one of the most famous of the 17th century. Louis XIV himself insisted on visiting it.
