Spanish school, late 17th century.
"Saint Roque".
In carved, polychromed and gilded wood.
Faults in the carving and polychromy. Xylophages.
Measurements: 25 x 10 x 6,5 cm.
Wood carving with a representation of a saint who probably identifies San Roque, who usually showed his wound (the marks of the plague) on his leg, which he shows through the opening of the tunic. The tunic is draped with deep, naturalistic, Baroque folds. He probably carried a pilgrim's staff in his right hand.
