Seamaster "Hard Metal" - "Anakin Skywalker" - reference 166.078 Tungsten city watch with automatic movement. - Tungsten barrel case, smooth bezel, fluted crown, screwed caseback. - Silver dial, applied stylized indexes, straight hands highlighted in black, straight central second hand painted in sky blue, date window at 3 o'clock. - Blue rubber strap with red stitching, metal pin buckle. Case, dial and movement signed. Movement: mechanical with automatic winding. Movement caliber 565 - numbered 29.850.243 (circa 1969) Case numbered 166.078 Diameter: 44 x 48 mm - Strap length: 16 - 20 cm With its sky-blue hand, the color of the Jedi lightsabers in the Star Wars films, this watch is commonly referred to as the "Anakin Skywalker". In the Omega Heritage Collection, it is listed as "Hard Metal" because of its tungsten case, a metal that is harder than steel. The case is unusual in the Biel-based company's production, with a large bezel-less overhang and a crown hidden in the side. A similar model can be found in the Omega Museum at Biel under the reference 1004, (page 294). Condition report: Good general condition, dust on the dial, wear scratches on the case, the watch works at the time of the expertise, without guarantee of functioning in time, a revision of use advised.
