Marbled fawn calf, spine ribbed and decorated, title and tome, framed with cold fillet on the boards, gilt fillet on the edges, marbled tr. (binding of the period). Slight tears on some boards, light spotting otherwise a good copy. New edition (the first in 1730, in 3 volumes in-4). Allegorical frontispiece engraved by Claude-Nicolas Cochin (Brunet I, 1290.)
