NASA. One of the first photographs of the lunar soil taken by the space probe RANGER VII. The RANGERS VII probe was a giant missile sent to the moon and destined to crash on the moon's surface. A few minutes before the impact, the RANGERS VII probe took photographs of the lunar soil which were developed, scanned and sent by radio waves to the Earth.
